March 31, 2008 - NBA G League (G League) News Release
SUNDAY NIGHT HIGHLIGHTS...top performers from Sunday's D-League games
v Justin Bowen led the way for the Toros with 32 points, while Andre Barrett scored 14 points and dished out 10 assists in Austin's win.
v Bakersfield's Justin Reed scored a team-high 25 points to go with eight rebounds in the loss for the Jam.
v Sean Banks topped Los Angeles scorers with 24 points, while Brandon Wallace chipped in with 14 points and 10 boards. Two of Errick Craven's 11 points came in the final seconds of the game, to give the D-Fenders the one-point win over Anaheim.
v Anaheim's Will Blalcok scored 22 points and grabbed eight rebounds, and Ejike Ugboaja scored 14 points and collected 18 rebounds in the loss.
v Dahntay Jones finished with 37 points in the Mad Ants' win.
v Cedric Simmons scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Iowa.
v 14er Roderick Riley scored 22 points and pulled down 13 rebounds in the win for Colorado.
v Mike Hall finished with a team-high 28 points and nine rebounds for Tulsa.
ALUMNI ACHIEVEMENTS...a look at D-League Alumni in last night's NBA games
Twenty-Five players with D-League experience competed in nine NBA games last night, five as starters. Here are the highlights:
v Brandon Bass scored 21 points in 26 minutes off the bench for the Dallas Mavericks.
v Recent GATORADE Call-Up Kasib Powell earned his second NBA start, finishing with six points and five rebounds in 40 minutes, while fellow Call-Up Blake Ahearn scored 12 points in 20 minutes, both for Miami.
