RETURNING FROM THE WORST: Can the Florida Flame bounce back from being on the wrong end of what equaled the worst beating in D-League history at Fayetteville on Thursday, losing to the Patriots by 40 points? Florida is 3-4 this season in games against opponents it lost to in the previous outing.
STRETCH RUN: With just under a month to play in the regular season and only 7½ games separating first and seventh place, the stretch run for the 2006 postseason promises to be a fun ride. Were the playoffs to begin today, the sudden-death semi-final round would have Austin playing at Florida and Arkansas, Roanoke and Albuquerque all tied for the chance to travel to Fort Worth.
BREAKING THE TIE: Should regular season end with teams tied for spots in the postseason, the first tiebreaker is head-to-head record against the team tied with. Should that not render a decision, the next step is record against the top seed from the regular season.

THEY SAID IT: "Injuries, player callups, we're decimated. But it's part of the business. Teams that are successful are the teams that overcome it. If we only have five players, we have to find a way to win. You can't cry; you just have to win." ... Arkansas president and general manager Otis Birdsong told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette as the RimRockers face the final 10 games following four NBA players being recalled.
