DAZZLE DONUTS: January 22-28 has been proclaimed "Dazzle Blue & Gold Week" by the Roanoke City Council. In addition to numerous festivities and promotions, Krispy Kreme Donuts will produce special "Dazzle Donuts" that feature blue and gold sprinkles. Any fan that purchases one of these will receive a coupon good for two-for-one admission into the games on January 27 and 28.

WILL TO WIN: Roanoke rode the shooting of guard Will Bynum to a pair of Showcase victories Sunday and Monday. The rookie from Georgia Tech averaged 29.0 points and 9.0 assists in the two games. He converted 20-of-30 field goal attempts (.667).

MR. SMITH GOES TO FAYETTEVILLE: Taking advantage of teammate Marcus Fizer's absence due to injury, Austin forward Jamar Smith used the opportunity for a pair of starts in the MLK Showcase to his advantage. The second-year pro from Maryland averaged 22.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and converted 20-of 33 field goal attempts (.606).
