FIRST FOR TEAMS, 10TH FOR COACHES: Although Austin and Tulsa have never met, this is the 10th meeting between 66ers head coach Joey Meyer and Toros head coach Dennis Johnson, with Meyer holding a 7-2 head-to-head advantage when he was directing the Asheville Altitude and Johnson was at the helm of the Florida Flame.
BRAGGIN' RIGHTS FOR TULSA: It was Torraye Braggs' putback as time expired that lifted Tulsa to an 87-85 win at Fort Worth on Tuesday. Braggs finished the game with 13 points and 14 rebounds.
STREAK SNAPPED: Tulsa's victory at Fort Worth on Tuesday snapped a five-game winning streak for the Flyers, who were playing their third game in five days.
LOVING THE ROAD: It's no coincidence that the top three teams in the current D-League standings also own the top three road records in the league. Florida (5-1), Fort Worth (4-1) and Arkansas (5-1) are a combined 14-3 away from home, with each team suffering only one road loss.

FORMER D-LEAGUER HONORED: B.J. McKie, who played in the D-League during its inaugural season and was a principal player in the ESPN series "Down Low: Life in the D-League" is having his University of South Carolina jersey retired prior to the Gamecocks home game against Pittsburgh tonight. McKie finished his career as USC's all-time leading scorer.
MLK SHOWCASE: The 2006 MLK Showcase, featuring every D-League team in eight games over two days, is scheduled for January 15-16 at the Crown Coliseum in Fayetteville, N.C.
