TODAY'S SERIES INFO: Fort Worth leads 1-0, defeating Tulsa 81-80 on November 23. Ime Udoka paced the Flyers in that game with 17 points and nine rebounds. Tony Kitchings had 18 points and seven boards for the 66ers.
PROMOTERS OF THE YEAR: NewMexicoSportsNews.com has named the Albuquerque Thunderbirds as their 2005 Promoters of the Year, citing team president Billy Widner and his staff for "promoting their product as a fun and family orientated night on the town. Leaving no stone unturned in hopes of getting fans to the game."
STREAKS AND SUCH: Florida and Fort Worth have both won five consecutive games. Fayetteville has lost seven straight and Austin four. After a 5-1 start, Albuquerque has lost four of its last six games.
TODAY ON NBA TV: The Arkansas-Austin game played on December 23 will air at 2 p.m. ET. Albuquerque's Joe Shipp is scheduled to be a guest on "NBA TV Insiders" at 6:30 p.m. ET.
