WHO'S NOT: Fayetteville has lost six consecutive games. Austin has lost three straight, two of them in overtime.

HOT SHOTS: Peter John Ramos of Roanoke has converted 23 of his last 32 field goal attempts (.719) and Donta Smith of Arkansas has made 30 of his last 48 (.625). Ramos is on assignment from the Washington Wizards. Smith is on assignment from the Atlanta Hawks.

INSIDE HEAT: Florida's inside duo of Dwayne Jones and Hiram Fuller have been gobbling up missed shots of late. Over the last three games Jones, on assignment from the Minnesota Timberwolves, is averaging 15.0 rebounds and Fuller has collected an average of 11.3

QUIZ ANSWER: Florida Flame director of basketball operations and assistant coach Terry Thimlar was a senior at Indiana State when Bird was a sophomore and the Sycamores finished 25-2. Two years later he returned to Indiana State as an assistant coach as Bird and the Sycamores went 28-0 in the regular season before losing to Michigan State in the NCAA Championship Game.
