
Nationals Win a 'Hall' of a Game

Jordan Hall scored at 1:55 of overtime to give the Hamilton Nationals a 12-11 victory over the Chesapeake Bayhawks in Annapolis, Md.
Hamilton continued its franchise-best start by winning its fifth straight game to move back into a tie for first place with the Denver Outlaws (5-0).
The Nationals got career-high five-point efforts from Stephen Keogh (5+0) and Kevin Cunningham (0+5). Two other Nationals reached milestones as Kevin Crowley (2+0) set the team record with his a point in 20 straight games. Goalie Brett Queener made 14 saves to surpass 400 stops as a National.
Chesapeake was led by Matt Mackrides (3+1) and two-goal performances from John Grant Jr., Ben Rubeor and Drew Westervelt. Kip Turner made 11 saves, including stopping Keogh with 32 seconds to play. Grant also shot wide as time expired in the fourth quarter.
Matt Abbott forced OT with a goal at 11:54 of the fourth quarter. The teams opened overtime by trading possessions. Hamilton's Joe Walters (1+3) then setup the winner as he fed Hall in the slot for his second of the night.
