June 1, 2013 - Major League Lacrosse (MLL)
Hamilton Nationals News Release

Cody Jamieson will make his return to Major League Lacrosse tonight as a member of the Hamilton Nationals. The Nats will take on the Chesapeake Bayhawks at 7:30 pm in Annapolis, Md. on CBS Sports Network.

"It felt great to be back with the boys. That's the biggest thing," said Jamieson after morning shootaround. "To finally get back out here is fun."

The last time "Jammer" played on national TV, he led the Rochester Knighthawks to the 2013 National Lacrosse League Championship on May 11th. Jamieson, who had three goals and three assists in the title game, became only the second player in NLL history to win back-to-back Championship Game MVP awards.

The 11-10 win over Washington in Langley, BC gave Rochester back-to-back NLL Championships for the first time in team history.

The Six Nations product enters his fourth season with the Nationals. Jamieson has 51 points (30+21) in 21 MLL games, which includes a career-high 11 assists last season. He was the Hamilton Nationals' second-round selection (10th overall) in the 2010 MLL Collegiate Draft.

To go along with two NLL Championships, Jamieson won the 2009 NCAA Championship while at Syracuse University, and won a Minto Cup with the Six Nations Arrows in 2007. From 2006-07, he won back-to-back NJCAA national championships with Onondaga Community College.

Jamieson will be back in Rochester Monday, June 3rd for the Knighthawks Parade and Championship Celebration.
