NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Nashville Soccer Club moved into third place in the Western Conference tonight with a 1-0 victory over Seattle Sounders FC in front of 26,927 fans at GEODIS Park. MVP candidate Hany Mukhtar scored the game-winning goal for Nashville SC in the 44th minute after a pair of tremendous passes from Randall Leal and CJ Sapong.
He's a 10 and He's Hany Mukhtar: MLS All-Star Hany Mukhtar etched his name in Nashville SC history on Wednesday becoming the first player in club history to score in four consecutive MLS matches. Mukhtar has now accounted for 16 of the club's 26 goals this season.
Sweet Delivery: Winger Randall Leal notched his fourth assist in four matches tonight after getting the play started on Hany Mukhtar's game-winning goal.
Sweeping Seattle: With the 1-0 victory tonight, Nashville SC has swept the season series against Seattle Sounders FC. The Boys in Gold took the series opener in a 1-0 win at Lumen Field in Seattle on Opening Day.
