"This is another fantastic opportunity to find players that may not otherwise have the chance to play professional basketball," said Nashville coach Ashley McElhiney. "The ABA is truly a league of opportunity and I look forward to finding some key personnel from Memphis and surrounding areas."
After the Rhythm's last tryout in June, guard Desmond Cambridge, a former standout at Alabama A & M University - signed with the team and six players have been invited to the Rhythm training camp in November.
Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
