
Nailers Announce Office Moves

WHEELING,WV - The Wheeling Nailers, proud âAA' affiliate of the Stanley Cup Champion Pittsburgh Penguins, announced today that Craig Bommer has been named the Vice President of Business Operations and Director of Ticket Sales, Chris Perez has been promoted to the AHL's Adirondack Phantoms.
"Craig and Chris were two of our first hires more than six years ago and have played an important role in the successes of the Nailers in the Ohio Valley." said Nailers President Rob Brooks.
Bommer enters his seventh season with the Nailers organization after spending the previous six years as the team's Director of Corporate Sales. "Craig's diverse skill sets, passion for Hockey and dedication to the Ohio Valley make him a perfect fit to help lead the Nailers in the future." Said Brooks. As VP of Business Operations, Bommer's responsibilities included overseeing ticket sales, information technology, as well as all corporate partnerships and general office administration. A native of Wheeling, Bommer is a 1999 graduate of West Liberty State College.
Perez served as the Nailers Director of Ticket Sales during the 2008-09 season where he led the staff in both ticket package sales and group sales. Perez joined the Nailers staff in July of 2003 after spending time with the Toledo Mudhens. A native of Detroit, Perez is a graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati.
"You won't find a harder working guy than Chris, he consistently challenges himself to grow and has gained respect from everyone he has worked with. He will be greatly missed in Wheeling, however his ticket knowledge and Wheeling experiences will be a huge asset to the Phantoms organization. " said Nailers President Rob Brooks.
