May 21, 2008 - North American Hockey League (NAHL) News Release

Bismarck (May 21, 2008) The Bismarck Bobcats drafted four players in today's North American Hockey League draft. Bismarck added more size to the line up with the pick ups of Bryan Kozlowski, Ryan Dunne, Joel Lundstrom and Ryan Dyer. These four players were among 148 others that were selected into the NAHL this afternoon.

The Bobcats picked up Victory Honda's leading scorer from last season, Bryan Kozlowski. The Livonia, Michigan product produced 24 points in 26 games last season.

"Bryan is a big forward with a lot of skill, we hope his offense translates over to junior hockey," said Bobcats Head Coach Byron Pool.

The ‘Cats also picked up 6'2'' 190 pound, right wing Ryan Dunne. Dunne spent last season with the Chicago Fury midget major AAA program.

"Ryan is a tough up and down type winger. He isn't afraid to play the body, he should be a good addition to our team," Pool mentioned.

Bismarck also picked up Joel Lundstrom, a 6'1'' 195 pound forward from Parker, Colorado.

"Joel competes hard, he finishes his checks and he has a real hard shot," Pool stated.

Bismarck followed the tracks of bigger is better for the 2008-09 season with 6'2'' 175 pound forward Ryan Dyer. Hailing from N. Redington Beach, Florida, Dyer spent last season with the Tampa Maple Leafs.

"I saw him play at the Chicago Showcase. He is a slippery forward with a lot of skill," Pool commented. "Ryan has a bright future."

The Bobcats continue the building process with their second tryout camp of the summer this weekend in Trenton, MI. Season tickets are now available at www.bismarckbobcats.com or by calling the ‘Cats office at (701)222-3300. Bobcat Hockey...LET THE GOOD TIMES ROAR!
