N.Y.C. News Flash! - Tryout Camps Discounted

May 23, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release


New York City, NY. "Due to an unbelievably overwhelming amount of replies regarding the "5 Boro 5 Man $10K" tournament and tryout camps at Rucker Park, the ABA New York City Internationalz have been able to attain sponsorship from a "GrassRoutez" film and clothing organization - their assistance will enable a dynamic discount for tryout camp registrants," stated Harvey Li, co-owner.

DISCOUNTED TRYOUT CAMPS

Online - $125 (convenience charge - no waiting on line, bring your printouts)

At Tryout Camp - $100 (Walk Up)

If you bring 5 players, 1 tryout camp registration fee will be waived.

Ages 14-19 - $$50

All Major credit cards accepted*

(For males and females that have already registered, please bring invoice voucher so that you can be reimbursed $50)

*In addition, tryout camp ID registration will allow you to attend one addition tryout camp for $80 if you are not selected at your first showing during tryout camps*

(First 100 registrants will receive a commemorative t-shirt at Rucker)

"GrassRoutez" community involvement and organizational influence has made it possible for the "5 Boro 5 Man $10K" tournament to start earlier than summer of 2009. Instead, all $10K tournament games will precede every scheduled ABA game for the NYC Internationalz inaugural home season, providing a significant initiative of value added servces for the enjoyment of New York City fans everywhere to spread the news," stated Anwar Sharhan, co-owner.

The dates for the tryouts are Saturdays May 24th at Holcombe Rucker Park, 155th Street and FDR (across from Polo Grounds) for ages 14-45 males and females. 8am-6pm All Day.
