Mustard, Strathmann and Slukynsky Selected for League Honors

John Mustard (Waterloo), Andrew Strathmann (Youngstown) and Hampton Slukynsky (Fargo) have earned United States Hockey League (USHL) Player of the Week honors for Week 10, the league announced Monday.

Birth Year: 2006

2 GP, 3 goals, 0 assists, 3 points, 8 shots on goal, +3, 1 game-winning goal

Scored three times in a 4-3 overtime road win at Cedar Rapids Saturday

Had the game-winning goal at 1:26 of overtime vs. the RoughRiders

Has 11-9- 20 in 18 games on the season to rank as the top-scoring rookie in the USHL

Defenseman of the Week

Andrew Strathmann | Youngstown | Beach Park, Ill.

NCAA Commitment: North Dakota

Birth Year: 2005

1 GP, 1 goal, 2 assists, 3 points, 3 shots on goal, +1 plus-minus rating

Had a goal and two assists in a 5-4 win over USA Hockey NTDP last Friday

Has 4-12- 16 in 15 games to tie for third in defenseman scoring in the USHL

Now a 3x USHL Defenseman of the Week for career (also Week #1 in 2022-23 and Week #3 in 2023-24)

Posted back-to-back shutout home wins last week

Registered 18 saves on 18 shots in 8-0 win over Chicago last Friday

Had 33 stops on 33 shots in a 6-0 win over the Steel Saturday

Stands 9-0-0-0 with a 1.53 GAA, 0.927 sv% and three shutouts on the season
