Music City Stars Take Over #1 In Power Rankings
December 28, 2009 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Indianapolis, IN. The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced its Power Rankings for the weekend ending December 27th, and for the third week in a row, there is a new team at the top with the
Music City Stars replacing the San Francisco Rumble following their close loss to the Clayton Showtime and the two strong victories by the Stars. The SETX Mavericks, also ranked #1 earlier this season, moved into the #2 position.
"Everyone is getting full consideration based on playing their games, performance in those games, reporting their results from those games in a timely fashion and with full consideration on the strength of the opponents they're playing," stated Power Ranking co-chairman Steve Tucker. "Each week there is movement in the Power Rankings and that is evidence that what every team in the league is doing is being looked at. It's an exciting season with lots of good teams. We'll see how it plays itself out in the coming weeks."
