Murphy and Mollon Earn Season Honors

The Charlotte Lady Eagles were one win shy of a 2007 W-League playoff berth despite finishing with a strong regular season record of 8-2-2 for 26 points. Two Lady Eagles were honored for their play in the W-League this season. Veteran midfielder Tina Murphy and forward Darcel Mollon both made W-League All-Central Conference, and Murphy also earned an All-League honor.
Midfielder - Tina Murphy (Charlotte Lady Eagles)
The eight-year W-League veteran is no stranger to recognition having previously received All-Conference honors in 2004 and 2006. This season Murphy garnered her first All-League honor in addition to the All-Conference honor despite Charlotte missing the playoffs for the first time in its history. In her seventh season with the club this year, she played in all 12 games, registering three goals and an assist.
Forward - Darcel Mollon (Charlotte Lady Eagles)
The Trinidad & Tobago Women's National team member earned All-Conference honors for the second time in two seasons in the W-League. Darcel played in 11 of 12 games this season, missing the final game of the season due to a concussion suffered in the previous match. Mollon scored three goals and four assists for ten points with the Lady Eagles this season.
