Mudcats Vs. Titans Part II

This weeks match up should be a big one as two teams will do battle again for the AIFA south division. The game features the (8-1) Mississippi Mudcats and the (6-1) Tallahassee Titans. The first meeting between the two teams brought together two undefeated teams and resulted in an amazing last second 62-58 Mudcats victory. The Mudcats fought through what was a tough Tallahassee road trip battling hostile fans and 38 penalty flags against the Cats, 7 of which called back Mudcat touchdowns. This week the Titans travel from Florida to face the Mudacts at home in what should be a exciting game as the Titans will attempt to slow down the Mudcats high power offense which not only features league passing leader Tommy Jones but a trio of receivers as well. The Mudcats big three at wide out have combined for over 50 TD receptions in only 9 games, lead by #8 Darryl Carter a 6"3 220lbs playmaker, also including speedy deep threat #6 Josh Smith 6"0 185lbs and new edition #3 Joel Babb 6"1 205lbs., this air attack should pose a hefty challenge for the Titans defense. The game will kickoff this Saturday night April 14, 2007 at the Bancorpsouth Arena at 7:00pm. Tickets are on sale now at the Arena Box office (662)-328-1111. Mudcat fans are all invited out to our pre-game tailgating party starting at 4:30pm this Saturday in the Arena parking lot including live music, food and kids events.
