On January 11, 2008 the Mississippi MudCats announce the signing of Saraland, AL native Brent Dearmon a 6"1 205 lbs. Quarterback from Bethel College. Dearmon owns 8 school record and is a former All Conference selection who amassing an amazing 7,040 yards and 77 TD's though the air and on the ground in 4 years. Dearmon comes to the MudCats from a brief stint in 2007 with the Evansville Bluecats in the United Indoor Football League were he passed for 15 TD's in 8 games. Dearmon projects to be a nice fit in the MudCats top rank offense.
