Moose recall Todd Ford from Victoria

The Manitoba Moose announced today they have recalled goaltender Todd Ford from the Victoria Salmon Kings of the ECHL.

Ford, 25, has appeared in 35 games this season with Victoria where he compiled a 17-15-1 record. As a result, the Calgary, AB native finished the season with a goals against average of 2.64 and save percentage of .915. In the 2009 Kelly Cup Playoffs, Ford appeared in seven games earning a 4-3-0 record, 2.47 GAA and 0.920 SV%. In his five year pro career, Ford has played in 14 AHL games with the Toronto Marlies where he accumulated a 6-5-0 record, 3.40 GAA and .885 SV%. In 170 career ECHL games with Pensacola, Columbia, and Victoria, Ford has a record of 83-73-15 along with a goals against average of 2.93 and a save percentage of .912.

Ford was drafted in the third round, 74th overall, by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.
