
Moore Returns to Roanoke

GREENVILLE, S.C., January 12 â Veteran forward Mikki Moore is returning to the Roanoke Dazzle of the National Basketball Development League after being released by the New Jersey Nets, according to an announcement by NBDL director of basketball operations Chris Alpert. To make room for Moore, the Dazzle released center Chris Christoffersen.
Moore, who began the season with the Dazzle, signed with the Nets Dec. 22 and was released Jan. 7. Prior to the callup, the 7-0 Nebraska product played in and started eight games for the Dazzle, averaging 42.4 minutes, 20.8 points and a league-leading 9.8 rebounds.
Christoffersen played in 14 games for Roanoke, averaging 13.8 minutes, 5.4 points and 3.6 rebounds.
Moore is expected to be back wearing his familiar Dazzle jersey #44 when Roanoke (8-6) is host to Columbus (4-13) Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET.
