This is not Hamilton's first stint in Spain, having played 10 games with Club Básquet Coruña in 2019-2020 and 47 games with Baxi Manresa in 2017-2018.
"I am so excited to be part of this team and this organization," expressed Hamilton. "I have been blessed to play basketball all over the world, but this is my first time in Canada, which I'm very excited about. I can't wait to meet all my teammates, the staff, and more importantly the fans".
Born in Hamburg, Germany, Hamilton grew up in London. Hamilton first joined the London Royals in 2018-2019, where he played in 26 games and averaged 13.8 points, 7 rebounds and 1.5 assists. Lavrio B.C. (2015-2017). In more than 200 professional games, Hamilton averages over 11 points and 5 rebounds.
Hamilton has also represented England and Great Britain on the international level, including at the Euro U18 and U20, at the European Championship Qualifiers and the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers in 2021-2022.
Hamilton played five seasons at Loyola Marymount University, where he averaged 10.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Prior to joining the American university, Hamilton played and studied at Lawrence Academy in Boston, Colegio Americano de Las Palmas in Spain and Trinity School in London.
Hamilton joins point guards Kemy Ossé, Hernst Laroche and Alain Louis, shooting guard Isiah Osborne, forwards Dominic Green, James Jean-Marie, Abdul Mohamed and Nathan Cayo as well as center Marc-André Fortin and will join the team for the beginning of training camp for the 2022 CEBL season starting May 16.
