WEEKEND RECAP
Vs. Wenatchee Wild - Selland Arena
FRIDAY, 10/22/2010: The Fresno Monsters dropped the first home game of the season in a close game to the Wenatchee Wild, losing by a final score of 3-2. Fresno had 4,122 fans come through the turnstiles for the Monsters' first-ever NAHL home game at Selland Arena.
SATURDAY, 10/23/2010:
The Monsters dropped another close game on Saturday, this time in an overtime shootout to the Wenatchee Wild by a final of 4-3. Fresno came back from a 2-0 and 3-1 deficit to force overtime and the shootout.

The Fresno Monsters WSHL team completed a 3-game sweep of the Valencia Flyers yesterday to jump to second place in the Western Division and improve to a season record of 8-1. The Monsters will play the Arizona Redhawks this Friday & Saturday at Selland Arena at 3:30pm, and Sunday at Gateway Ice Center at 10AM.
PLAYER SPOTLIGHT
JOHN SIEMER: Siemer recorded a goal and an assist in Saturday's shootout loss to the Wenatchee Wild. Siemer still leads the team in scoring with 5 goals and 7 assists for 12 points.
MIKE COX: Cox scored the game-tying goal in Saturday's game against the Wenatchee Wild. The goal came with less than 5 minutes left in regulation.
WALKER HYLAND: Hyland scored an assist in Friday's game and a goal on Saturday against the Wenatchee Wild. Hyland has the second-most points on the team with 3 goals and 7 assists for 10 points.
