Monsters' Players Spread Holiday Cheer in the Community

Fresno, Calif. - The Fresno Monsters will be in the community this weekend and next week helping spread holiday cheer around the Fresno and Clovis areas. This Saturday morning the Monsters' players, staff, and Deke the Monster will be in the Fresno Christmas Parade in Downtown Fresno at 10AM, weather permitting. Fans are encouraged to bring the whole family to the parade or watch live on KSEE 24.
Saturday afternoon the Fresno Monsters players will be participating in a Skate with the Monsters event from 4-6pm at the City of Clovis Skating Rink Grand Opening in Old Town Clovis on Pollasky and Bullard. Players will be on hand to skate with fans, take pictures, and sign autographs.
Tuesday night both the Western State Hockey League and North American Hockey League Fresno Monsters' teams will be walking down Christmas Tree Lane in Fresno at 7:15pm.
The NAHL Fresno Monsters return to action next week on Wednesday, December 15th at 7:05pm, and Friday and Saturday, December 17th and 18th at 7:35pm at Selland Arena as they battle the Fairbanks Ice Dogs. On Wednesday the first 300 fans through the door receive a buy one, get one free round of miniature golf courtesy of Boomers. Doors open at 6:05pm. Friday, December 17th is School Spirit Night. Fans are encouraged to wear their school colors and/or uniforms to the game. Saturday, December 18th is American Red Cross Central Valley Night with the Fresno Monsters. The players will be wearing specialty holiday jerseys to be auctioned off immediately after the game with proceeds to benefit the American Red Cross Central Valley. Saturday is also Teddy Bear Toss Night. Bring new teddy bears to the game to throw on the ice when the Monsters score their first goal of the game. All teddy bears will be collected by the U.S. Marines for Toys For Tots this holiday season.
