The league's hottest team faces its final league match for nearly two weeks when D.C. United entertains Real Salt Lake at RFK Stadium on Wednesday night. United are riding an eight-game unbeaten streak, winning for the seventh time in that stretch over the weekend in a top-of-the-table clash with New England. Real are facing the third game of their four-game road swing, seeing a bid for a season-long three-game winning streak dashed last weekend in a loss to Houston. RSL is 11 points out of the last playoff spot with eight games still remaining; they need every point they can take if they are going to reach the MLS Cup Playoffs for the first time.
