
MLS Issues Disciplinary Committee Decision

NEW YORK - The MLS Disciplinary Committee has suspended Seattle Sounders FC forward Clint Dempsey one additional match (two games total) and issued an undisclosed fine for violent conduct in the 37th minute of Seattle's match against FC Dallas on March 18 (VIDEO ). Dempsey, who originally received a red card for the play, served his first suspension during the Sounders FC match against the Montreal Impact on March 31. The forward will serve his second suspension on April 15 against Sporting Kansas City, and he has been issued an additional undisclosed fine for visual dissent.
