
MLL Week Eight Players of the Week Named

Boston, MA -Â Randy Staats and Sean Sconone have been named Warrior Players of the Week for their outstanding performances in Week Eight. TJ Comizio was named Cascade Rookie of the Week for his performance against the Boston Cannons.
Randy Staats was named Warrior Offensive Player of the Week for his eight point performance against the Boston Cannons. Staats had two goals to go along with six assists in a 15-12 Blaze win. Staats is now tied for the league lead in points with 40.
Sean Sconone was named Warrior Defensive Player of the Week for his superb play for the Dallas Rattlers against the Denver Outlaws. The UMass product paced the Rattlers to their first win of the season, making 22 saves on 30 Outlaws shots. The Rattlers won 11-8.
TJ Comizio of the Atlanta Blaze was named Cascade Rookie of the Week for his fine play against the Boston Cannons. Comizio scored a goal and added an assist on the evening. He was also good defensively, scooping up two ground balls and causing three turnovers.
