New York Lizards News Release
Boston, M A- Dylan Molloy is simply one of the best lacrosse players in recent memory. From winning the Tewaaraton Award in 2016 as the nation's best collegiate lacrosse players to being named MLL All-Star MVP this year, Molloy has proven he is the premier lacrosse talent.
This season, Molloy put up outstanding numbers, scoring 28 goals to go along with 14 assists. Molloy was second on the team in those categories, trailing only 2018 MLL MVP, Rob Pannell. In the July 11th game against the Boston Cannons, Molloy's famous back-to-back bull dodges landed him the #2 slot on SportCenter's Top 10.
Perhaps Molloy's finest moment in the 2019 season came at the MLL All-Star Game in Annapolis, Maryland. Molloy found the back of the net five times in a six point effort. Molloy was named All-Star MVP and received a check from New Balace for ten thousand dollars.
In 35 career games, Molloy has scored 90 goals as well as tallied 126 career points. Molloy, contracted to return in 2020, will add to those numbers next season as a member of the New York Lizards.
Molloy has made a significant impact on his team, the sport and the community. Read what others are saying about the Lizards star and read a few of his quotes about the game.
