MLL Partners With Musician Avery Watts

Boston, Mass.-Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, is pleased to announce an agreement with emerging music star Avery Watts and Papillon Entertainment to become a music partner for the 2009 MLL season.

"There is a natural mix between the sport of lacrosse and music," said MLL Commission David Gross. "The music of Avery Watts is hard-hitting and brings crowds to their feet, much like the action of Major League Lacrosse. Avery Watts will provide a fitting soundtrack to our broadcasts and highlight videos."

Avery Watts will be featured in each MLL on ESPN2 broadcast for the remainder of the season, starting with the July 4th game between the Boston Cannons and Denver Outlaws at INVESCO Field at Mile High in Denver, which will be broadcast ESPN2 on tape-delay Tuesday, July 7 at 1PM ET.

Additionally, Avery's music will also be prominently featured in MLL highlight videos appearing on LaxUnited.com and MajorLeagueLacrosse.com.

Watts, who grew up in Portland, Oregon, but now calls Los Angeles home, is known for his high-energy sound that incorporates an array of musical elements and influences. But there is more to his music than a big sound and awesome beats. "I want to make music that's inspiring," said Watts. "I hope that my music makes a difference in people's lives."

Papillon Entertainment Group is pleased to have Avery Watts be one of the featured artists on Bare Metal Records' 3rd charity compilation CD titled "Auditory Assault". Released on July 15, 2009 on line through cdbaby.com and major retail outlets to fans and supporters across the nation, the CD will support our nations troops to bring them home safely. The CD's will be hand delivered to over 2,000 troops overseas in Iraq and Afghanistan through the USO and military outlets.

Avery Watts is currently in preproduction for his first music video for his hit single "Our World" (feat. Day- Shawn). The music video will be featured with Watts' music in the soundtrack to Damien Dante's film "JEZEBETH". DSR Records (a newly acquired partnership with Sony) and Avery Watts have inked a 3 part licensing deal to include tracks from his hit release "The Takeover EP" (titles included in the film: A Cut Above, Our World and a newly mastered instrumental titled "Good vs. Evil". Film premiers in November 2009.
