Connect Four - Following their 19-18 victory over the Los Angeles Riptide, the Long Island Lizards have won four straight games and are now tied for first place in the Eastern Conference. The Lizards opened the season with back-to-back losses against Rochester and Boston.

Another Connection - After a 15-13 victory over Chicago, the Denver Outlaws have won four straight games and lead the MLL with a 5-1 record. The Outlaws have averaged 16.75 points per game during the winning streak, including a pair of 19-point efforts.

Fit to Be Tied - Entering the seventh week of the MLL season, the Rochester Rattlers and the Long Island Lizards are tied for first place in the Eastern Conference with identical 4-2 records. The two teams have already met once this season with the Rattlers earning a 16-10 victory over the Lizards in the season opener.

Unlucky Seven - The San Francisco Dragons were held to a franchise-low seven goals in their 10-7 loss against the New Jersey Pride on Saturday night. Leading by 5-2 at the intermission, the Dragons were held to just two goals in the second half as New Jersey won its second game.

Stopped by Scherr - Over the last three weeks, New Jersey Pride goalkeeper Rob Scherr has been the top netminder in the MLL. After a 19-save performance against San Francisco on Saturday night, he has made 69 saves in those three games while allowing just 36 goals, good for a .657 save percentage. He has been named as the MLL Goalkeeper of the Week in each of the last two weeks.

What's Got Into Him - Through the Denver Outlaws' last five games, midfielder Brian Langtry has been the leading scorer for the MLL's top offensive team. The former Hofstra University midfielder has scored 10 goals, including a pair of two-pointers, along with 12 assists as Denver has won four of the last five games. He is tied for the MLL lead with 32 points in six games.

Bombs Away - Led by Jeff Sonke, the Denver Outlaws extended their win streak to four straight games with a 15-13 victory over the Chicago Machine at INVESCO Field at Mile High on Saturday night. Sonke scored the last three points for Denver, including a two-point tally with 13 seconds remaining. It was Sonke's first two-point goal of the season.

Staying Inside - Through the first six weeks of the season, MLL teams have combined to score just 25 two-point goals. While Denver leads the league with six two-point markers, two teams (Chicago, New Jersey) have yet to score from beyond the 16-yard arc. Last year, the league's ten teams combined to score 65 goals from two-point range.

Power Outage - Heading into their game against Los Angeles night, the Rochester Rattlers have allowed a league-low five power-play goals and lead the MLL in penalty killing with an 86.1 per cent success rate. The Rattlers have also scored a league-high two short-handed goals after Casey Powell scored a short-handed goal against Philadelphia last week.

Powerful Play - Entering Saturday's game against the Philadelphia Barrage, the Washington Bayhawks lead Major League Lacrosse with 13 power-play goals. In six games this year, the Bayhawks have tallied 13 goals in a league-high 45 extra-man opportunities, good for a 28.9 per cent success rate.

Sharp Shooters - The Denver Outlaws have been the top offense in Major League Lacrosse through most of this year. After last week's performance against Chicago, the Outlaws lead the MLL with a .347 shooting percentage. They are also first in the MLL by averaging 17.83 points per game.

Staying in the Box - Rochester defender Jack Reid leads Major League Lacrosse in penalty minutes through the first six games. He has earned 14.5 penalty minutes in six games after being called for three penalties in Rochester's win over Philadelphia. The league single-season record was set by Jay Jalbert in 2004 when he collected 22.5 penalty minutes.
