
MLL Names Week Nine Players of the Week

Boston, MA - Colin Heacock and Warren Jeffrey of the Chesapeake Bayhawks have been named Warrior Players of the Week for their performances in Week Nine. Alex Woodall of the Atlanta Blaze has been named Cascade Rookie of the Week for his play against the Dallas Rattlers.
Colin Heacock was named Warrior Offensive Player of the Week after scoring ten goals in two games against the New York Lizards. Heacock's ten goals this weekend, matches his previous season total of ten goals.
Warren Jeffrey was named Warrior Defensive Player of the Week after shutting down Dylan Molloy this weekend. Molloy, who won All-Star MVP, only scored a goal and an assist this weekend for the New York Lizards.
Alex Woodall of the Atlanta Blaze was named Cascade Rookie of the Year after going 26-33 at the faceoff X against the Dallas Rattlers. Woodall also scooped up 19 ground balls on the night. Woodall has won 169 faceoff on the year and picked up 97 ground balls, which are both Blaze single season records.
