HANNA HELPS OUT
Denver's Matt Hanna
Being a professional lacrosse player allows the athletes of Major League Lacrosse to become role models for younger players. Denver's Matt Hanna, a 2002 Johns Hopkins graduate, represents an example of how lacrosse players should involve themselves in their community.
GIVING BACK TO LOS ANGELES
The growth of lacrosse in California has been phenomenal in recent years and while it has mainly been in the suburbs, Sean McKeon, who is president of LAX in LA, hopes to see equal growth in the inner-cities. In fact, since LAX in LA and the Starz Foundation began introducing the game to underprivileged youth in Los Angeles the numbers have grown dramatically.

TEAMS SET FOR NB ZIP CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND
Following three exciting games on Saturday, the teams for the 2007 NB ZIP MLL Championship Weekend have been determined. With their respective wins, the Denver Outlaws and the Philadelphia Barrage both secured berths in the postseason.
DEVELOPING THE PLAYOFF PICTURE
The playoff picture is almost in focus. If you squint, you can see that The Rochester Rattlers, Philadelphia Barrage, Los Angeles Riptide, and Denver Outlaws are all headed to Rochester for the 2007 NB Zip MLL Championship Weekend.
After that, things start to get a little fuzzy.
KYLE DEVITTE MAKES SOME 2007 AWARD PICKS
The best lacrosse players in the world play in the MLL. This fact makes the yearly MLL awards relevant and important in the "Who is the best ______?" In the first installment of the award chronicles I will predict/crown the best goalie and the best rookie. I will also try using these things called "facts" that I keep hearing so much about. Should be pretty cool. I really wanted to do "worst goalie" and "worst rookie", but DG just punched my ticket for championship weekend. And what Gross giveth he can taketh away.
