September 15, 2008 - American Basketball Association (ABA) News Release
Jackson, MS. The ABA Mississippi Blues will be holding tryouts for ten roster spots. According to Daniel Price, team owner, "We know that there are a lot of players who want to make it pro. So we are giving players that opportunity to make it with the Mississippi Blues. We are looking for great players with outstanding character that we can build with."
The Blues will be inviting 15 players from tryouts to training camp set to start in November. "We are looking for players we can win a championship with," added Price. "The roster spots are wide open for the best players. We do not have anyone set for any spot. We just want the best personal available." The price is $100.
