GK Brian Rowland saved 15 shots in the win; he leads the MISL with a .751 sv%... MF P.J. Wakefield scored twice against the Steamers to give him 13 g on the season... F Carlos "Chile" Farias leads the league in scoring with 33 pts... Baltimore hits the road this weekend for games in Philadelphia (2/12) and Milwaukee (2/13)... The Blast is a combined 1-4 against those teams this season.

Leading scorer Novi Marojevic is T-6th in the MISL with 29 pts... D Gaston Pernia is 4th in the league with 31 blk... Force Notes – Cleveland logged a convincing 9-2 win against Kansas City on Friday and fell 7-6 in double overtime in Philadelphia on Saturday... GK Jim Larkin and D Matt Johnson were named MISL Players of the Week... Larkin played 140 min in 2 days, saving 39 of 49 shots; he ranks 2nd in the MISL in sv (249) and 3rd in sv% (.739)... F Sipho Sibiya scored 4 pts (3 g, ast) over the weekend... M John Ball is T-11th in the league with 26 pts and T-3rd with 15 ast... D's Rene Rivas (35, 2nd) and Wendell Regis (34, 3rd) remain among the league's top shot-blockers... Cleveland is now 1-4 in overtime this season... The Force could pull out of last place with a win on 2/12 at Kansas City.

F Miodrag Djerisilo and D Vlatko Andonovski are both T-17th in the league with 21 pts... The Comets' defense (6.7 ga per gm) is now the worst in the league... Kansas City kicks off the week with a School Day Game on Wednesday before a home-and-home set with Cleveland this weekend (2/12 in K.C., 2/13 in Cle).

The Wave also still boasts the MISL's best defense, allowing 4.8 gpg... F Greg Howes, the reigning Spalding Scoring Champion, is 15th in the league with 23 pts... Milwaukee's lead over 3rd-place Baltimore is now just one game; the Wave hosts the Blast on 2/13, after traveling to Chicago on 2/11.

The game took 82:13, the second-longest contest in KiXX franchise history... Veteran F Kevin Sloan scored 5 pts (3 g, 2 ast); he has either scored or assisted 8 of the team's last 14 goals... Sloan is now T-4th in the league with 20 g and T-11th with 26 pts... Rookie F John Barry Nusum is T-2nd in the league with 32 pts and T-3rd with 19 g... GK Peter Pappas leads the MISL in w (12) and saves (257) and is second in sv% (.741)... D Pat Morris' 12-game point streak ended on Saturday... Steamers Notes – The Steamers went 1-2 last week, defeating Kansas City 11-5 on Wednesday and Milwaukee 5-4 on Friday before falling 5-4 in Baltimore on Saturday... Second-year F Shaun David was named Offensive Player of the Week... Veteran Daryl Doran is now T-2nd in the MISL with 32 pts and T-1st with 19 ast... Striker Mike Apple is T-2nd with 20 g... GK Brett Phillips is 2nd in the league with a 4.38 gaa... St. Louis is now 10-3 when scoring first in 2004-05... The Steamers, just a half-game behind 1st-place Philadelphia, host the Chicago Storm on 2/12.

NOTABLE:

- On Saturday, February 19, the Baltimore Blast will induct Head Coach and longtime Blast great Tim Wittman, former Blast player Bruce Savage, and original MISL Commissioner Earl Foreman into the Baltimore Blast Hall of Fame. Original Blast head coach Kenny Cooper and former players Stan Stamenkovic and Mike Stankovic became the first three inductees last season. In addition, an Anniversary Game, featuring prominent players from the Blast's storied 25-year history, will be played before that night's Baltimore-Cleveland match-up.

- That same night, St. Louis Steamers Alumni will take on St. Louis Ambush Alumni at halftime of the Steamers-Milwaukee Wave clash at Savvis Center.

- Philadelphia KiXX player/coach Don D'Ambra appeared in his 400th career game on Saturday night.

- St. Louis Steamers President and co-owner Michael Hetelson and recently-signed Lindsay Kennedy
will appear on ESPN2's "Cold Pizza" morning show this Thursday, February 10. The show airs live from New York City from 6:00 – 8:00 a.m. Eastern, and encores from 8:00 – 10:00 p.m. Eastern.

- Four active players are averaging one goal or more per game in 2004-05: Baltimore's Giuliano Celenza (21 goals in 21 games), Chicago's Mark Ughy (17 in 16), and the Kansas City duo of Dino Delevski (19 in 15) and Anthony Maher (20 in 16). A fifth, Chicago's Adawalla Morad, scored 11 goals in his first eight games, but has not played since December 18.
