Blast Notes - Split a pair of matches last week, stopping Milwaukee 5-4 at home, falling at Chicago, 10-6, ending their second two-game win streak for the season... The Blast travel to Milwaukee for a Friday battle, then are back to 1st Mariner Arena on Saturday to face the St. Louis Steamers... Baltimore will continue to play without the services of Denison Cabral, Adilson De Lima and Carlos Garcia, all out with knee injuries... F David Bascome celebrated his 400th NPSL/MISL game with two goals in the win over Milwaukee last week... F Giuliano Celenza stands two goals shy of the century mark for his career and is just six points away from 200... Baltimore has a 2-4 record versus Central Division opponents this season.

Storm Notes - Chicago snapped a three-game skid with a 10-6 win at Baltimore last Saturday, then lost to Philadelphia, 9-5, the following day... The Storm host Philadelphia on Friday and travel to meet Central Division rival St. Louis on Saturday afternoon... F Awadalla "Awad" Morad has recorded seven goals and four assists in just six professional games, notching two goals and an assist versus Baltimore and another tally against Philadelphia... Rookie GK Danny Waltman leads the MISL in minutes (644) and saves (133)... He has also faced more shots than any other keeper... Chicago and Philadelphia have split their first two meetings this season, while the Storm face St. Louis in their first-ever meeting.

Comets Notes - Kansas City extended its win streak to three games with a 6-4 triumph over San Diego last week... Offensive Player of the Week Anthony Maher notched his third hat trick, his second in as many games, including the game-winner with 1:50 left to play on an assist from Goalkeeper of the Week, Chris Damico... Damico stopped 12 of the 15 shots he faced... Damico ranks third among MISL keepers in save percentage (.734), having stopped 91 of 124 shots in six starts this season... The Comets will host Chicago on Saturday afternoon.

GK Jim Larken has recorded 105 saves, good for second among the League leaders... The Force offense is second in the MISL scoring at a 6.33 goals per game pace.

Wave Notes - The Wave dropped a one-goal decision in Baltimore, 5-4, and followed that up with a 3-2 triumph over division opponent St. Louis... Troy Dusosky notched his 100th career NPSL/MISL goal at Baltimore... Milwaukee faces two Eastern Division rivals this week, hosting Baltimore on Friday, their first meeting in Milwaukee since the Championship Series Final last season, and then traveling to Philadelphia on Saturday for the first of four meetings this season... The Wave are 1-1 in games played in Baltimore this season... Milwaukee has a +15 goal differential, has not lost a game by more than a goal, and averages 6.09 g.p.g... The Wave are tops in the League in wins and win % (8/.727), assists (60), PK% (71.4), Shot % (23.7) and scoring margin (1.36).

Tigres Notes - D Genoni Martinez is the MISL's two-time defending Defender of the Year, who finished second in the MISL in points last season, but hadn't scored a goal through four games and 25 shots this season, before breaking through with four goals over the weekend. Martinez (two goals) and F Marco "Chikis" Lopez (two goals) combined for four goals on Dec. 4 as the Tigres gained their first win, 6-3 over Chicago ... Only eight players have scored goals for Monterrey ... Tigres have been outscored 13-4 in the fourth quarter ... Have an overall goal differential of -12 ... Head coach Erich Geyer has been involved with 13 professional indoor championships as player, head coach, or assistant coach.

D Pat Morris collected his third MISL Defensive Player of the Week honor for the season... Eastern Division leading Philadelphia meet two Central foes this week, traveling to Chicago on Friday, and then hosting Central leader Milwaukee on Saturday... Doran leads the Steamers and is tied for the MISL lead with 18 points (8G, 10A) ... Three more St. Louis players - F Mike Apple, F Joe Reiniger, and MF Sterling Wescott - join Doran in the top-6 in the MISL in scoring ... Special teams have been a strength for the Steamers. Power play (47.1 percent) ranks fourth in the MISL, and the penalty killing unit (64.7 percent) ranks second ... Have outscored opponents in each of the first three quarters, have been outscored 19-12 in the fourth ... Co-owners Wally Smerconish and Michael Hetelson have begun production on a reality television show that focuses on the team.

San Diego sits atop the leader board in power play goals (11) and power play percentage (73.3%)... San Diego's home match versus Cleveland on December 18 has been postponed.
