GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK

Jim Larkin, Cleveland Force

Jim Larkin stood tall in two Cleveland wins over the weekend, recording 34 saves and a .790 save percentage as the Force extended its winning streak to five games and moved into third place in the MISL standings. On Saturday, Larkin turned away 15 of 19 shots as Cleveland edged the Chicago Storm 5-4. The Toronto native then stopped 19 of 24 shots in a 7-5 victory over the Kansas City Comets on Sunday. Larkin, who has now won four Goalkeeper of the Week Awards this season, has posted a .762 save percentage over the course of Cleveland's five-game winning streak. He is now fourth in the league with a 5.20 goals against average, second with a .743 save percentage, and leads the league with 385 saves.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Genoni Martinez, Cleveland Force

Genoni Martinez wins his second straight Defensive Player of the Week Award after recording three assists and five blocks during the Force's perfect weekend. The 2002-03 Defender of the Year has made a profound impact since joining Cleveland in mid-February, scoring 22 points and blocking 18 shots in his first 10 games with the club. Cleveland is 8-2 since adding the 30-year-old to its backline.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

John Ball, Cleveland Force

John Ball scored seven points (three goals, four assists) in the Force's two weekend wins, giving him his second straight Offensive Player of the Week Award to complete Cleveland's sweep of weekly honors. Ball tallied three points (two goals, assist) on Saturday and added four more (two goals, two assists) on Sunday. He has scored at least three points in each of his last five games (12 goals, 16 points total) and 22 points over his last 10 outings. The former defender has already established a new personal career best in assists, and registered the 450th point of his career in Saturday's game. He now ranks second in the league with 48 points and is tied for second with 23 assists.
