(Saint John, NB): A miracle shot at the buzzer propelled the Moncton Miracles over the Saint John Mill Rats, 101-98, at Harbour Station.

Ricky Volcy sprung free for a game tying shot under the basket with 1.6 seconds left, but Ty Beaty's desperation heave before the halfcourt line hit off the glass and sank in for the win.

Gabe Freeman led Saint John with 30 points and 12 rebounds, Ricky Volcy 20 points, Anthony Anderson 13, and Anthony Stover 10. James Justice led Moncton with 23.

The loss drops Saint John to 7-5, but the Mill Rats remain in 2nd place behind the Halifax Hurricanes. The Miracles improve to 4-6.

The team travels to Halifax next Thursday before heading out to Ontario to face the River Lions again and then the London Lightning. They return to the Martimes and play on the road against the Miracles and Island Storm, before returning home on February 18th against the Orangeville A's.
