The veteran defender serves as captain of the Swarm and led the team to a 9-7 record this season. Behind Cousins' leadership Minnesota captured their second consecutive playoff berth. In this, his six year in the league, Cousins played all 16 regular season games for the Swarm, helping the team to a third place finish in the Eastern Division. Steve Toll of the Rochester Knighthawks wins the first ever NLL Transition Player of the Year Award. The 2007 award is also his first career season award. Toll tallied 38 points on 14 goals and 24 assists while helping the Knighthawks to a league best 14-2 record in 2007. The veteran led Rochester with 177 loose balls during the regular season, a total that was also good for third best in the league.
