Minnesota United Set to Host a Combine-Style Tryout for MNUFC2 and MNUFC Academy

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. (Nov. 1, 2023) -- Minnesota United announced today that the club is set to host a combine-style tryout at the National Sports Center Dome in Blaine, Minnesota to scout talent for MNUFC2, the Loons' MLS NEXT Pro side. Scouting for prospective MNUFC Academy players will also take place at this combine.

The combine will take place from Tuesday, January 9 through Wednesday, January 10. MNUFC is encouraging players residing in or near the Twin Cities metro and across Minnesota - as well as from across the country - to attend this tryout. Registration for the event has a registration fee of $205 and will close on Friday, December 15.

All applicants must be ages 16 years or older to be eligible for consideration and must submit payments alongside a playing resume or CV before the registration deadline. Applicants will receive a decision by December 22. Players not selected to the combine will receive a full refund for the tryout fee.
