MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (Friday, July 10th, 2015) -- Minnesota United (0W-0T-1L, 0 pts.) returns home this Saturday to start its home Fall Season campaign at the National Sports Center Stadium. United faces off against an Ottawa Fury FC squad (1W-0T-0L, 3 pts.) that is in fine defensive form. Excited to return home and play in front of the home crowd, the Loons sold out every match this Spring Season, and have added 500 seats to accommodate a growing fan base. The match is set to kick off at 7 p.m. CDT - fans can watch all the action live on KSTC45-TV and ESPN3.

Fans of United will be eager to see their team perform, after a difficult close to the Spring Season and a rough start to the Fall campaign. United matches up Saturday against one of the hottest teams in the NASL-Ottawa Fury FC. The Fury have gone 616 minutes without conceding a goal and are trending upward in the NASL standings.

"Ottawa is a well organized team," said Minnesota United Head Coach Manny Lagos. "They have shown through the first third of the season that they do a good job defending and have a good team spirit and unity about them. They are at the top of the league with that aspect of their play and that's something we need to be ready for."

Minnesota begins a three-match week on Saturday against Ottawa Fury FC with a 7 p.m. kickoff at NSC Stadium in Blaine. Following Saturday's test against Ottawa the Loons face off against Jacksonville Armada for a midweek game on Wednesday July 15th at NSC. Finally the home team faces off against Club León in an international friendly that will mark the return of former United superstar Miguel Ibarra. Ibarra will play a half for his new club and former club. Find tickets for all three matches today at mnunitedfc.com/tickets.
