
Minnesota Swarm To Hold Open House on October 17 at Xcel Energy Center

SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The National Lacrosse League's (NLL) Minnesota Swarm announced today that the team will hold an Open House on Tuesday, October 17 from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at the Xcel Energy Center.
The Swarm Open House is free and open to the public. Swarm General Manager Marty O'Neill, Assistant Coach Derek Moffat and forwards Sean Pollock and Ryan Ward are scheduled to appear at the event, sign autographs and provide fans an opportunity to participate in the sport of indoor lacrosse on the Xcel Energy Center turf.
Howard Green and Rusty Kath will host a Lacrosse 101 Session beginning at 6:30 PM at the Iron Range Grill. Fans will have the opportunity to dress like a player and try on the same equipment worn by Swarm players during games. In addition, fans can try and score a goal against O'Neill, as the former NLL goalie will appear in net during the Open House.
Minnesota opens its third NLL season at Xcel Energy Center against the Chicago Shamrox on Saturday, January 13 at 7:00 PM. For more information on becoming a Minnesota Swarm season ticket holder please call (888) MN-SWARM.
