
Minnesota Swarm Announces 23-Man Roster

SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Minnesota Swarm General Manager Marty O'Neill today announced the National Lacrosse League (NLL) team's 23-man roster for the 2007 NLL season. The Swarm's 23-man roster consists of 10 forwards, 11 defensemen and two goaltenders.
All 23 players on this season's roster saw action with the Swarm in 2006 including leading scorer Ryan Ward, who tallied 66 points (19-47=66) in 16 games and goaltender Nick Patterson, who was named to the 2006 NLL Second All-Pro Team after posting a 6-2 record and ranked third in the NLL with a .790 save percentage and fourth with a 10.40 goals against average (GAA) in 2006. Minnesota's roster also includes all 20 players that participated in the team's first-ever playoff game last season, an 11-10 loss at Buffalo on April 23, 2006 in the West Division Semifinal.
