Making its national return to arenas across the country, the AFL begins a new chapter as a league. Minnesota will be front and center with a brand-new team, mission, and organization: The Minnesota Myth. The Myth will kick off the season Week 1 with an away game against the Nashville Kats, followed by their home debut Week 2 hosting the Philadelphia Soul on May 5th.

The Myth's season consists of 10 games - 5 away and 5 home games to be played at the iconic Target Center, also home to the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves and the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx. Regular season games will be played on Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays with the following home schedule:

5/5 v. Philadelphia

5/9 v. Albany

5/18 v. Wichita

5/30 v. Washington

6/6 v. Nashville

The AFL previously introduced the Minnesota Myth as an expansion franchise in November of 2023 during a history-making press conference, introducing Diana Hutton as the league's first-ever sole Latina team owner. At this time, Hutton shared her vision for the Myth as she builds a team focusing on community engagement and bringing people together to celebrate not only sports and football, but connection and community.

The Minnesota Myth, led by Head Coach Rickey Foggie- University of Minnesota football icon, will head into the 2024 season with a hunger for victory. With the combine and tryouts under their belt and training camp on the horizon, the Myth organization is ready to bring experience, talent, and determination to the game.

Join The Minnesota Myth on their exciting journey as a new chapter in Minnesota sports unfolds and a legendary Myth is born.
