Weekend Recap:
The Magicians hosted the Wilderness in their only game of the weekend on Saturday, and the fans in attendance were treated to a exciting game of back-and-forth action. The game was so tight that the outcome could not be decided in regulation, and the Magicians' rivals from Cloquet were able to capitalize on a controversial penalty in overtime with a powerplay goal to escape victoriously. Coming up this week for the Magicians is a two game road trip against the Coulee Region Chill on February 20th and 21st. The Red & Black will then send four players to the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament in Ann Arbor, Michigan on February 23rd and 24th, before returning home for Military Appreciation Weekend on February 27th and 28th at Richfield Ice Arena.

The Magicians will send 4 players to the upcoming NAHL Top Prospects Tournament in Ann Arbor, Michigan on February 23rd and 24th. Lukas Laub, Vaughan Ahrens, and Sam Becker will represent the Midwest Division, while Nolan Schaeffer will participate as a member of the NAHL 18U Selects team.
The Magicians will be hosting their 1st Annual Military Appreciation Night on Saturday February 28th at Richfield Ice Arena. The Magicians will be wearing specially made camo jerseys for the game, which will be auctioned away to fans at the end of the evening. The event benefits Defending the Blue Line .
