Milwaukee Mustangs News Release

MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Iron announced today that it has signed former Green Bay Blizzard star quarterback Gino Guidugli and former Arena Football League defensive back Robert Durham for the 2010 season. With three years of af2 experience and time in both the CFL and NFL, Guidugli brings guidance and dominance to an already sturdy offense; while Durham brings AFL experience to the defensive backfield.

GINO GUIDUGLI, QB, 6'4'', 230, CINCINNATI

Guidugli, 26, played the last two seasons with current Milwaukee Iron Head Coach Bob Landsee in Green Bay where he led the Blizzard to the af2 American Conference Championship game in 2009. Despite passing for 377 yards and seven touchdowns in that game, the Blizzard were handed the loss, 72-67. Guidugli was also named the Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Week after defeating the Iowa Barnstormers in Week 12 last season when he threw for 391 yards and seven touchdowns, one of which was the game-winner in overtime, without getting picked off. He also rushed for a touchdown in that game.

Prior to his arena football success, Guidugli was signed by the Tennessee Titans after the 2005 NFL Draft but was later released. In 2007 Guidugli joined the Blizzard for his first season in af2. Later that year he signed as a free agent with the British Columbia Lions of the CFL but was released after training camp and returned to the Blizzard.

Guidugli played four seasons at the University of Cincinnati from 2001 to 2004 and owns nearly every school record in passing and total offense. He finished his career with 11,453 yards on a 56.6 completion percentage (880-for-1556) and 78 touchdowns. A versatile quarterback, Guidugli also rushed for 208 yards and scored five touchdowns over his four-year Bearcat career.

A native of Fort Thomas, KY, Guidugli attended Highlands High School where he led them to two state football championships in 1999 and 2000 and was a backup when they won the title in 1998. He also played basketball and led his team to the Kentucky sweet sixteen his senior season.

ROBERT DURHAM, DB, 5'11'', 205, TUSKEGEE

Durham, 26, comes to the Iron after playing his rookie season in the Arena Football League with the Columbus Destroyers in 2008. He made five solo tackles in his debut but was later placed on injured reserve and finished the season there.

Durham attended Tuskegee Institute (AL) where he was selected to play in the 2006 Cactus Bowl, which features the best Division II players in the nation. In 2005 he had 26 tackles and one interception for the Golden Tigers.

The Milwaukee Iron have ascended to the highest level of Arena Football as a member of Arena Football One. Downtown Milwaukee and the Bradley Center will come alive in 2010 as the Iron host legendary Arena Football League opponents such as the Arizona Rattlers, Cleveland Gladiators, Iowa Barnstormers, Orlando Predators, Utah Blaze and more.
