Manchester, New Hampshire: The Manchester Millrats are winless against one team in the ABA this season, and its not the defending ABA Champions. Fourth ranked Manchester is 0-4 against the 10-14 Quebec Kebekwa, and Millrats GM Ian McCarthy thinks the team is now beyond the issues that contributed to each of those losses.
"We had maturity and chemistry issues with some of our lineups that made it difficult for us to win on the road when faced with adversity," stated McCarthy, "we'll be up to play the Kebs this weekend."
So much so that the Millrats have added a second game against the Kebs, slated for this Sunday at 7:05 pm at the Sportszone Athletic Facility in Derry, New Hampshire. The first game remains the same and is scheduled for 7:05 pm on Saturday at Southern New Hampshire University.
"The Sportszone has been a terriffic practice facility for us and we felt this would be a way to help bring some of the Millrats excitement back to their building, and to expose some new fans to fan friendly, affordable basketball," stated Millrats Principal Owner Jason Briggs.
The Millrats are currently 19-10 and fresh off a 128-105 trouncing of the Montreal Royal. This weekend's games will feature the debut of 2007 ABA All Star Cedric McGinnis to the Millrats lineup.
Tickets are available for Sunday's game at the door only. For tickets to all other Manchester home games please visit www.manchestermillrats.com for details.
