Saint John Riptide News Release
The Manchester Millrats dropped two closely contested road games in their opening weekend in the Premier Basketball League.
On Friday night the Millrats lost a nailbiter to the Montreal Sasquatch 100-97 behind the spirited fourth quarter play of the rugged Jamaal Wise (21 points) and Randy Gill (15 points). The Millrats rallied from a 15 point deficit but ultimately came up short in the final seconds. Al Stewart led Manchester with 19 points.
