Detroit Fury News Release
AUBURN HILLS, MICH.- The Detroit Fury of the Arena Football League announced today that quarterback Drew Miller will be ready to play on Saturday versus the Georgia Force at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Miller was injured in the first quarter of last week's game in New York against the Dragons when he was brought down by a lineman and sprained his left ankle.
"He has rehabilitated well and seems to have good movement," Head Coach Mouse Davis said. "We are excited about how well he has responded and believe he is ready to go."
Team doctors have given Miller the green light because of the way his ankle has responded to treatment and rest. Miller completed 5-of-7 passes for 76 yards and two touchdowns before the injury occurred. Miller's replacement last week, Charles Puleri, will dress as the back up.
Tomorrow night's contest is slated for a 7:30 PM kickoff at The Palace of Auburn Hills. Detroit looks to improve their home record to 2-1. For ticket and team information, visit www.detroitfury.com.
