Mill Rats Season Tickets Now on Sale

The Saint John Mill Rats, presented by ROGERS, are pleased to announce that Season Tickets for the Upcoming 2011 - 2012 season are now available for purchase at the Harbour Station Box Office.
This will be the inaugural tip off season of the new National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada).
"We are so excited that this new national league for Canada has truly come to fruition, and we are looking forward to building new rivalries across the Maritimes and Canada," stated Mill Rats President and General Manager Ian McCarthy. "It's going to be fun."
The NBL Canada includes the Mill Rats, the Halifax Rainmen, the Quebec Kebs, and new franchises in Moncton (N.B.), Summerside (P.E.I.), London (O.N.), and Oshawa (O.N.).
Last year's Season Tickets Holders have until August 5, 2011 to purchase renew their seats. Ticket Packages will include the ROGERS Slam Dunk Pre-Season game to be held at Harbour Station at a date to be confirmed.
The 2011 - 2012 Game Schedule will be announced on or about July 31, 2011, with an expected 36 game regular season schedule, to begin in early November. Single tickets will go on sale effective October 17, 2011.
Saint John "Son" Honoured
The Mill Rats have affectionately renamed the courtside seats by the team benches the "Donald Sutherland Seats".
"Typically in other arenas they are called the Jack Nicholson seats, which refers to the actor who is present courtside at every Los Angeles Lakers home game. However we have decided to honour Donald Sutherland, a famous actor who is a native Saint Johner," explained Mill Rats VP of Marketing David Cooper.
