Saint John Mill Rats Head Coach Rob Spon

(Saint John, NB): The Saint John Mill Rats are thrilled to announce the return of Head Coach Rob Spon to the bench.
Coach Spon is fresh off a Premier Basketball League championship, having led the Rochester Razorsharks to their first ever undefeated season.
A Winner!
In addition to winning a championship this past season, Coach Spon has led the Mill Rats to two Atlantic Division titles in the two seasons that he coached the team (2008-9 & 2013-14).
"When presented with the opportunity to bring a veteran coach like Rob Spon back to Saint John, our management team had to pull the trigger," said Mill Rats President & General Manager Ian McCarthy. "We are very thankful of the job that Julian King did last season, staying poised during some early roster turmoil."
"We look forward to combining Coach Spon's experience with a roster core that ended last season with us. I think the sky would be the limit."
Coach Spon will arrive in the Port City this weekend and will help out the MillRats Elite program.
