April 19, 2010 - Arena Football League (AFL)
Chicago Rush News Release
Chicago Rush owner Mike Ditka and Chicago Bears kicker Robbie Gould will be signing autographs Friday night when the 3-0 Rush returns to Allstate Arena to host the Utah Blaze at 7:30 p.m., the Rush announced today.
Gould will be stationed at the Gridiron Greats Assistant Fund booth in the Allstate Arena concourse and will be signing autographs from the time doors open at 6:30 p.m. until kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
Ditka also will be at the GGAF booth, and will sign autographs for a period of 45 minutes beginning immediately after the game ends.
All autographs for both Gould and Ditka are free, but limited to one per fan.
The Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund (GGAF) is a non-profit, 501(c) (3) corporation, established to provide financial assistance and coordinate social services to dire need retired NFL players who are pioneers of the game and have greatly contributed to the NFL's status as the most popular sport in America.
Thanks to Ditka's involvement as owner of the Rush and member of the GGAF's Board of Directors, Gridiron Greats will have a presence at each Rush home game, staffing a booth in the concourse with GGAF merchandise for sale to benefit the charity. In addition, GGAF will have former and current NFL stars make appearances to sign autographs throughout the season.
Great seats for Friday's game remain available. Fans wishing to purchase tickets should call Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000 or visit the Ticketmaster Web site at www.ticketmaster.com.
